Project Description

The fire chief of the West Peoria Fire Department reached out to River City asking for a couple of schemes to expand their operation. This is the anticipated first phase which includes the relocation of offices and an added storage area. We had the opportunity to visit the station, meet the chief, and take diligent measurements of the space. We used the measurements to make an existing model of the station to use as a base for our proposal. We presented two schemes to the chief, one from another member of the office, and this proposal that I completed.

My goal with this scheme was to consolidate the plumbing as much as possible while maintaining a public-to-private transition while walking through the new wing. All modeling in the addition was done by me, the existing building was modeled in conjunction with another office member. I completed all documentation independently.
