The fire chief of the West Peoria Fire Department reached out to River City requesting design proposals to expand their operation. This scheme represents the anticipated first phase which includes the relocation of offices and an added storage area. We had the opportunity to visit the station, meet with the chief, and take detailed measurements to create an as-built model as the base for our proposals.

We presented two schemes to the chief, one by a colleague and this proposal, which I developed. My goal was to consolidate the plumbing as much as possible while maintaining a public-to-private progression through the new wing. All modeling of the addition and documentation was done independently. The existing building was modeled collaboratively with a colleague.
